Just in time for Valentine's Day, Victoria's Secret is launching a few new products including this new scent. I know that many people confess a secret love for all Victoria's Secret scents, but I have to admit that I don't know a lot about their scents.
Victoria's Secret has always been a bit of an intimidating store for me, especially after a sales associate came up to me in college and suddenly started measuring me in the middle of the floor without even saying a word to me (yes, it was strange and embarassing, I ran away). Since then I've purchased primarily on-line, which means I haven't tried any of their fragrances.
This latest offering is Ooh La La, and while slated for a February 2008 launch it is currently available in stores but not on-line.
Victoria's Secret lists the main notes as Mandarin, Cherry Blossom and Vanilla, and I have to say that this blend is fun, fresh and I really do like it a lot! While in the bottle it smells very perfumed and fake, you are really missing out if you don't try it out. The scent changes immediately once applied, and it really has a great Cherry Blossom and Vanilla Scent. It is sweet but not over-whelming and with time the vanilla recedes as the mandarin comes out a bit more.
This scent is also very subtle, and only those close to you can smell it. I think that if it was stronger this scent would be overwhelming, but as a subtle scent it is perfect!
