Real Hydration Solutions

Given my inability to find a great hydrating creme for my readers (see the post below), I thought I'd ask the ultimate hydrating company for their recommendations! So, I hope you have some money saved up, because I asked La Mer!

Loved by fashionistas worldwide (and there is likely a reason), the Classic Creme de la Mer has long been touted for it's incredible ability to moisturize even the driest of skin! I've heard of Hollywood stars using this incredible moisturizer all over their body even!

The Eye Concentrate is a newer product that is incredibly concentrated to help quench the dryness around your eyes, as well it helps with dark circles and puffiness, lines and wrinkles! It was a 2007 Redbook MVP (Most Valuable Product) Award Winner even!

Finally, The Hand Treatment helps us with the most abused part of our bodies, especially this time of year!

If you feel the need for some pampering and your skin is crying out for moisture, these are definitely some products to try out.

I having been using La Mer as a night cream for 6 months now and it has dramatically increased my skin's radiance and virtually eliminated the majority of my fine lines. The texture of the Moisturizing Gel Cream is optimal for oily or combination skin tones, as it melts right in, leaving no greasy residue behind. Best of all, when I wake up in the morning I have a healthy lit-from-within glow.

for an incredibly cheap alternative to La Mer, I've found Ponds Dry Skin Cream to work wonders for me during the harsh cold and dry winter months! I have been prone to skin rash breakouts and massive peeling during the cold season and ponds has really saved my skin and my wallet as well :)

Seems like a good solution :)
Recently though I remember reading a post at Savvy Skin, saying that La Mer is very much the same as Nivea but the prices are far far apart (Nivea being a tiny fraction of the price of La Mer).

Do you think you can also do a comparison of the two? It'd be great to read what you think :D
