Lancôme's Spring 2008 Ombres Glacee- The Perfect Highlighter for Spring!

I like to have a highlighter to use on my face, especially for those days that I don't feel quite like myself. Somehow adding a bit of highlighter really brightens my look, allowing me to feel more awake! I've been on the look out for a new highlighter, since my old favorites (from Revlon and Benefit) were discontinued and my last bits are dried and clumpy.

I like my highlighter to be white or at least very pale, very translucent and to have very subtle shimmer. A gel or thick cream is the easiest to apply, and I want it to be long lasting. My quest didn't last very long, the answer came in a box from Lancôme! Not only that, but this is a Holy Grail worthy product, and you'll need to stock up!

I tried this product out in Chameleon, a pearly slightly off white cream that has this spring's L.U.C.I. technology. It shimmers and sparkles, truly like the beach sand that inspired Gucci Westman. Lancôme has a lot of talent in their labs, because this product is genius! Once on the skin it is very subtle, but the shimmer is definitely there. It simply makes your skin look radiant! The product is perfect for highlighting your cheekbone, inner corner of the eye and my favorite- the brow bone! It even lasts all day!

I just checked the collection here in Italy and it's quite different to what it's available in the US. We have shades with different names (same product? who knows?) and we also have 3 sets of eyeshadow compacts.

You could try smashbox's artificial light if lancome decides to make this LE. artificial light has many of the same qualities, comes in a huge bottle with a nice pump and is a mainstay of their line.

What was your old favorite highlighter from Benefit that was discontinued? I know they still have High Beam, Moon Beam... maybe Miss Popularity?
