Clinique Full Potential Lip GlossFriday, January 25, 2008
I've made so secret of my lip gloss obsession. I counted the number I had in my work bag today. It was 14. Really! So, I'm very picky about my lip gloss, if something is sticky, smells/tastes funny or doesn't last longer than an hour I'll throw it away.
One gloss that I seem to be reaching for over and over lately is Clinique's Full Potential Lip Gloss. I'll be honest with you, I only bought it because I wanted to be able to buy the amazing $25 set, but you had to buy something first. (You would have done the same thing, it was a purple case filled with Black Honey items, I'll review soon...)
Anyways, I ended up with this Voluptuous Violet lip gloss. More often than not I seem to be carrying this around in my pocket at work. The color is a beautiful berry color with a hint of violet, similar to my MAC Nico Now Lipglass, but a few shades darker. This shade is very pretty, and I think it would suit a lot of skin tones! The gloss is not sticky, there is no scent/flavor, it feels hydrating and lasts for hours!
This gloss promises to give you fuller lips over time. I was confused at first, since I thought it was a plumping gloss, but instead it contains peptides to help increase collagen production over time. Which means that it is also anti-aging!
Next time I need to buy something from Clinique I know that I'll be picking up more of this gloss as well. Give it a try!
