Become Age Resistant Rejuvenating Hand Cream and Hand Smoothing Complex

Become is a company that I had never heard of before their PR rep recently contacted me, but I have to say that after trying these 2 products I definitely want to try out some more!

The first product that I tried was the Hand Smoothing Complex. This product is a basic oil based scrub, with salt as the "grit". There are quite a few moisturizing ingredients (explained in the ingredients list below). However, despite all of these oils, this is a scrub that feels great to use and doesn't make me feel slimy afterwards. I feel pretty moisturized afterwards, and using this scrub just feels incredibly decadent! I think my favorite part might be the smell, it has a distinct orange smell almost like fresh orange zest!

-Sodium Chloride (salt as "grit")
-Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil (Emollient)
-PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate (Emollient)
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sucrose, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Silica, Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Parfum, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Oil, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Nut Oil, Tocopherol, Vegetable Oil.

I also tried the Rejuvenating Hand Cream, which had the same great orange scent! Become promises that with this hand lotion "one application creates a protective moisture barrier and provides instant hydration and protection from sun damage. " Just one look at the ingredients explains these claims, there is a crazy number of emollients and a humectant to boot!

I have to say that this hand cream is pretty good! When I used it at home (with "normal person" amounts of hand washing and using my hand soap from Williams Sonoma), it lasted through at least a few washings, making my hands feel soft and supple for several hours after use. I also put it to the "ultimate" test, I took this lotion to work! It did last through at least 1-2 washings with our surgical scrub that I wash my hands with. After these washings my hands no longer felt like I had just applied the lotion, but they did feel soft and didn't hurt from the soap, which is a big bonus!
