Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover Review

The Best Drugstore Cuticle Remover

I’ve always had issues with my cuticles. Whether they were dry and ragged or full of painful hangnails, I could never seem to trim them enough, keep them moisturized enough or fix them to be what I considered to be “decent.”

That’s all turned around due to my new cuticle remover, Sally Hansen’s Instant Cuticle Remover (Buy the blue one! They make a green one as well, which is fine, but I like the blue one more).

Don’t let this cuticle remover scare you! The packaging says it removes cuticles in 15 seconds, but if you have it on longer it won’t dissolve your skin away. I like to use this in the sink. I simply apply a small amount to each nailbed, rub it in and then run my thumbnail over each cuticle. It quickly and painlessly removes any excess skin. Next I simply wash off with hand soap as usual. Afterwards my cuticles are smooth and not at all irritated.

With regular use of Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover and daily use of CND Cuticle Eraser Cream, I don’t have to cut my cuticles any longer. As a bonus, Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover is cheap and very easy to find at my local drugstores and big box stores.

I also use Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover to do an at home pedicure! I admit that in the shower I will squirt this all over my heel and toes, let it sit for about 10-15 seconds and then scrub away! I use my thumbnails, a nail brush and a pumice stone while the cuticle remover is on my foot, and then I wash off with soap and water. The result is a much faster pedicure with softer feet in no time! I end up using about 1/3 of a bottle for a pedicure, but the bottle is much cheaper than a visit to my local nail salon.
