While it may seem like all of the favorites of the magazine editors are getting more expensive all the time, it is definitely possible to get great deals on-line of many of these products, you just need to know where to look. Almost any beauty brand, from Revlon to NARS can be found on the internet for less. Here's a lot of my favorites for less on-line!
One of my all time favorites is Revlon's Skinlights Skin Brightener which was recently reviewed at Beauty Snob. There are many different shades of this, but I like the lightest color, Natural Light the best. I use a very small amount of it on my brow bone, temple and sometimes on the apple of my cheeks and inner corner of my eye for a natural glow on those days when I'm under the weather.
Revlon's on-line outlet also has their Colorstay Nail Enamel in a pretty large array of colors. The staying power of this polish is great, and the top coat is worth the cost of the polish alone!
Some of my everyday basics are also cheaper on-line. The Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit is the first concealer that has really managed to make me look awake, especially when combined with the slightly pink concealer underneath. For years I've worn NARS Blush in Orgasm, the color looks like a natural flush on most skin tones and is very pigmented, meaning you use less blush. I've had the same compact of it for about 2 years and haven't hit pan yet. Many of my favorite lip glosses are also available, such as Bobbi Brown Tube Tints, Duwop Lip Venom as well at the NARS Lipgloss and NARS Duo Lipgloss
Some always popular products that are also easy to find include Lancome Fatale Mascara, Lip Fusion, Laura Mercier Bitten Lip Gloss, MAC Lip Glass, and Stila Lip Glaze.
Perhaps some of the easiest bargains to find are nailpolish. There are a lot of on-line stores that have great deals on nailpolish, often with hard to find, discontinued colors at near-wholesale prices. The two most beloved stores on the Makeup Alley Nailboard are Head 2 Toe Beauty and 8ty8 Beauty. Their selections are slightly different and they carry different lines, but they both carry Opi and China Glaze. Head 2 Toe also has Essie, and 8ty8 doesn't have Essie on their site but does have it in their store, so if you e-mail they can usually add it to your order if you e-mail them. Both sites are set up so that you can go through check out to the point of seeing your shipping cost without entering any credit card info. A Chau Nails also carries Zoya Polish, while Beauty West has Elizabeth Arden.
Ball Beauty has a much more comprehensive collection of items available for less. They have St. Tropez Sunless Tanner, which is often a favorite of beauty mags as well as Kristen over at Beauty Addict.
